	The No.70 incorporated a moulded fibreglass seat shell. With its generous proportions and organic form, it invited the user to curl up in it. Because of this it eventually became known as the "Womb" chair.

ウーム（＝子宮）チェアと名づけられたこの椅子は、座った人がそのあまりの心地よさに、まるで赤ちゃんのように丸まってしまうことに由来しています。 アメリカンモダンの代表的デザイナーといえば、チャールズ・イームズ、エーロ・サーリネン、ハリー・ベルトイヤ、ジョージ・ネルソンなどがあげられます。左はウームチェアのオットマンとベンチ、右はネルソンのココナツチェア。
